Have you constructed buildings in Forge of Empires but have since decided you want to move them? Not sure how to do so. Not to worry. The fix is pretty simple; this is all that you need to do.
So, how do you move buildings in Forge of Empires? To move a building in Forge of Empires, you need to click the building tab in the bottom left corner of the screen. From, there, click the tab with three icons that appears in the center at the top of your screen. From this tab, click the middle button.
And here is a screenshot which shows the buttons:

So, it’s actually pretty simple; when you know-how!
But I know what it’s like; Forge of Empires can quickly get overwhelming – especially at first.
And thankfully, you can use this method to move buildings, roads, decorations and even your Town Hall!
It’s very useful in the game to know!
Just consider that there are two other buttons that appear on the top bar after you click the buildings button, these are:
- Sell – this will give you some coins back, buy you are essentially deleting the building/road/decoration
- Cancel – i.e. leave the interface.
And when it comes to moving, just consider this.
You can move buildings anywhere around the area of your city.
If there is something stopping the move; it will have a red highlight on the ground.
Essentially, if it’s allowed, the ground will be highlighted in green.
If the ground is highlighted blue, you can swap the building for the one underneath.
And… that’s all we have for today.
You’re welcome 🙂
