Forge Of Empires Halloween Event 2021 [Event Guide]

On Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at 09:30 am, the Forge of Empires Halloween event 2021 will start, this time with the theme Clown Town.

During the 22 days, there will be 30 instant quests plus 21 daily quests.

In addition, there are further mini-quests that can be activated via dolls, which are then found as part of the built-in mini-game.

It is about collecting tickets for the Clown Town in order to get more children into it using their candles, torches, and lanterns.

These lights will then be used to clear the fog in the tent to find the prizes hidden inside.

At the start of the event, 120 tickets will be available.

The next 60 tickets are given daily for logging in.

Then each of the 30 tasks in the main quest series will provide another 40 tickets, and the 21 daily quests that follow will each provide 85 tickets.

You can also buy tickets for diamonds.

Depending on the size of the package purchased, you pay 4 to 5 diamonds per ticket.

Of course, the incidents in and around the city also occasionally provide tickets, mostly 5, with luck even 10 or 20.

Finally, you get 300 tickets for completing the milestone after quest 15 and 666 tickets as a milestone reward after solving quest 40.

Thus, the active player will receive 5,391 tickets during the event, plus those he gets from the incidents and the mini-quest series.

These tickets are then used in the event window.

Halloween Event 2021 Mini Game

In that mini-game, a candle can illuminate a single square, a torch can clear entire columns and the lantern then removes the fog around all adjacent squares.

This is how you uncover light bulbs, dolls, portraits, and pumpkins.

There are 4 new portraits, and all the avatars known from the Halloween events of previous years can also be found.

This is ideal for players who have only just started. You only ever find avatars that you don’t already own.

At the beginning, you first get 7 candles, 3 torches and a lantern.

You can exchange more of these three illuminants for the tickets you receive.

Since the largest package offers the most for the price, it is advisable to always go for it.

So for 395 tickets you get a total of 20 candles, 8 torches and 8 lanterns.

As you progress, it is worthwhile to illuminate everything a little more carefully, as the aim is not only to collect the necessary number of light bulbs but also, if possible, all the dolls.

Each doll enables you to start a mini-quest series that provides further necessary tickets.

The dolls are obviously hidden several times in the maze, and the mini-quest series can be completed several times.

However, some dolls seem to be rarer to find. It would be very helpful to get the extra reward associated with completing them.

Players who are thinking about whether it is worth using a candle for each pumpkin or perhaps foregoing it in favor of getting more light bulbs and dolls should be given the tip that the chance of winning a good prize, i.e. the respective daily special, is better the friendlier the pumpkin looks.

Halloween Event 2021 Daily Special

On the first day of the event on the beta server, the daily special was the selection kit for the horror house, i.e. the previous year’s main prize.

On the 16th day, this daily special was offered again.

But there is also the Black Tower, the Graveyard Selection Kit, the Abandoned Asylum Selection Kit, the Dark Doorway, and various towers with combat bonuses as well as the related upgrade kits.

There really is something for everyone.

Completing The Halloween Event 2021

If you want to complete the event in as little time as possible, you should first collect the dolls you find and then activate them all at once.

This gives you a whole series of additional tasks in one fell swoop, but they are often the same.

If, for example, one task requires you to use 30 Forge points, another 45 Forge points, and a third task 60 Forge points, then all three tasks are completed with the 60 Forge points used. This considerably reduces the time required.

Power players, on the other hand, will complete these mini-quests very early and thus receive a whole series of additional rewards, especially more illuminants to clear even more fog and thus receive even more rewards.

The first 4 tasks of the mini-quests give another 5 tickets as a reward.

The fifth and last task then each offers a special reward, such as the Jack O’Lantern Chapel, blueprints, medals, fragments of the graveyard upgrade kit, supply production accelerators, the scarecrow, the haunted house, and the mad scientist’s laboratory.

For those who are playing since many years, that’s a lot of stuff for the antique dealer.

New players like to use the mini-quests to get items from previous years.

Once all the mini-quests are completed, you get the collector’s reward.

Besides Medina’s portrait, these are 30 candles, 10 torches and 10 lanterns. It is worthwhile to complete all the mini-quests once.

You can find a sticker for the calendar once a day.

If you find another sticker on the same day, you only get one sticker fragment.

You can put 5 of these fragments together to make a complete sticker. You get more sticker fragments through the daily challenges.

You get a small prize immediately for each sticker you put in the calendar.

If you put all 21 stickers in the calendar, you get the calendar collector’s reward: 2 Horror Circus selection kits, 200 Forge points, 100 goods and the Harlequin avatar.

The light bulbs you find are then presented in a progress bar at the top of the event window. For every 20 bulbs you find, you get the next Grand Prize.

In the usual way, every second Grand Prize is a step towards the main prize of the event, in this case, a selection kit for the Horror Circus.

This is a 5-piece building set, where each building can be upgraded individually to a better 2nd level.

The upgraded buildings provide better returns.

The upgrade is irrelevant for the set bonus. You can mix buildings of different levels without any problems.

So first complete the set and then upgrade the most important buildings. Even if an upgrade is missing, it will not be a problem.

You get a first selection kit for completing the 5th task and another one for completing all 51 quests of this event.

Further selection kits are then provided by the mini-game, where the first Grand Prize and then every other Grand Prize is a selection kit.

The central building, Helter Skelter, can get 4 set bonuses through its neighbors.

A fully upgraded set at level 2 then provides 11 Forge points, 25 goods, defense bonus and attack bonus for the defending army, defense bonus for the attacking army, a permanent coin boost, medals, and coins.

Two buildings reduce happiness, two others increase it, which overcompensates that.

In the annual event calendar, this is the penultimate event.

Surely no one wants to miss it.
