Welcome to our seventh installment of our Forge of Empires Starting Guides. Today, in part seven, we will be taking a look at Goods and Badakus!
We remember that in episode 5 we had found two resources on the province map.
In our case, these were grapes and flowers.
This gave us very advantageous production conditions for wine and paint. While normally only one good can be produced every 4 hours, the matching resource deposit increases production fivefold.
Therefore, only those goods should be produced for which there is already a suitable raw material deposit. In our case, we build a winery and a dye house.
We obtain the necessary building space by demolishing some potteries.
Goods production buildings tie up a lot of population. Therefore we build some more chalets.
We prefer the 8-hour production in goods production buildings. It then delivers 10 pieces of the corresponding good.
Of course we also need the other 3 goods. We will exchange these in the market at a later time.
- Marble Stone Marble Stonemason
- Rock Stonemason
- Grapes Winery
- Flowers Dyeing
- Trees Sawmill
We continue to make progress on the provincial map as well.
Against the stronger Iron Age units, especially the really good archers, we use every cover. Forests and bushes let our spearfighters take less damage on hits.
The next sector is a bit easier again. Against fast units, our light units, the spearfighters, have a bonus. Thus we lose only one spearfighter.
The last sector of Badakus again offers units, which are more difficult for our spearfighters.
However, since we outnumber them, this should be manageable.
If you want to know more about the battles of the Iron Age, you can find a dedicated video for each of the provinces in this channel.
With that, we have reached the end of the Bronze Age and will then move on to the Iron Age in the next episode of this series.
