Welcome to our Forge of Empires St Patricks Day Event 2022 Guide!
The St. Patrick’s Day event was added to the game in 2020 and was considered controversial from the start.
Some loved it, others hated it.
Many were simply confused by the huge numbers.
Often the enormous amount of time, the event took, was criticized.
And finally, it was confusing that the event was didactically structured in such a way that it intuitively did not lead to success if one followed the game mechanics.
None of this has changed in 2022.
First of all, the event is about collecting as many pots of gold as possible.
You start the event with an initial stock of 200 pots of gold. With each daily log-in, another 100 pots of gold are added.
Each of the 35 immediate quests offers a reward of 100 pots of gold.
We strongly recommend completing as many quests as quickly as possible right at the start, because the pots of gold will be needed very quickly.
In fact, we were able to complete the first 5 quests immediately, completely unprepared.
You can prepare yourself, because, as always, the quests are in the first pinned comment below the video.
In this event, it is more important than in other events to complete the Rush quests particularly quickly.
The 21 daily quests that follow even bring 150 gold pots each.
The quests are within the familiar framework and can be completed quickly in the usual way. They do not contain any surprising difficulties.
When you reach the milestone for the 20th quest, you will receive an additional 750 gold pots, and for the 45th quest even another 1,400 gold pots.
Finally, the incidents in and around the city occasionally bring another 10, 20, 50, or even 100 pots of gold. This is especially helpful at the beginning of the event.
This means that active players can collect a total of 11,200 gold pots by logging in daily and completing the quest series.
It should already be revealed at this point: You have to start the event early and play it accurately, otherwise, it can’t be done.
It gets really tight at the end and can only be achieved if you don’t follow the course set by the game mechanics.
You have to deliberately skip tasks in order to be able to reach the goal.
As always, it should be noted that an email from InnoGames with a few gifted pots of gold can still help here.
This email is sent to players who are registered and have agreed to receive the occasional emails.
At the end one upgrade kit will be missing.
This can be found in an Event Surprise Box that you got in the previous Forge Bowl event.
Only with this additional upgrade kit the event building can then be upgraded to the highest level.
Those who do not have this surprise box in their inventory need 3,500 diamonds to buy an additional 4,000 pots of gold.
St Patricks Day Event 2022 Grand Prize Building
The main prize of this year’s St. Patrick Day event is the Celtic Farmstead.
This 5×6 square building can be upgraded to level 10 and then provides population, coins, 25 goods from the building’s age, 13 Forge points and 15 goods for the guild treasury.
It also provides a permanent bonus for the attacking army, depending on the age between 15% and 35%.
The basic building at level 1 is given as a milestone reward for completing the 5th quest. You then get two upgrades for completing quests 35 and 56.
This gives you 3 out of a total of 10 prizes needed to get the building to level 10.
St Patricks Day Event 2022 Mini-Game
The hotly debated mini-game of this event is then the remaining procurement opportunity for further upgrades.
There you get tasks and for every 25 tasks completed you get a Grand Prize.
The first, fourth and seventh grand prizes are then an upgrade kit each.
This seventh grand prize can be achieved absolutely reliably. Together with the two upgrade kits from the milestone rewards, you have a total of 5 upgrade kits at the end of the event.
When you complete a city in the minigame, you have the opportunity to open 6 boxes.
Only if you actually open all 6 boxes will you receive an upgrade kit as an additional reward.
The gold pots collected in the game are enough for the necessary managers in the mini-game, and to purchase a complete set of boxes a total of 3 times.
Without using diamonds, buying a fourth set of boxes is completely impossible.
Certainly, there are several possible solutions.
We are firmly convinced that all other solutions require much more playing time.
That’s why our recommendation is to skip purposefully selected tasks in the mini-game in order to successfully complete 3 cities and get another Grand Prize from a 4th city, which, however, you won’t be able to finish.
We will explain which tricks you can use to achieve this in the following guide on the St. Patrick Event mini-game.
